FAIR P(L)AY #2: Who pays the bill?
On #EuropeDay23, May 2023, DutchCulture organised a break-out session as part of the 2nd edition FAIR P(L)AY, organised by EUNIC Netherlands at Nieuwe Instituut, Rotterdam. This edition focused on young and emerging artists. FAIR P(L)AY is about fair practice in the cultural sector and aims to discuss and implement new and existing ways of creating fair environments in terms of funding, remuneration, copyright and mobility in Europe.

Care & Resilience: Ukrainian Museums in Times of War (full version)
DutchCulture welcomed 7 museum professionals from Ukraine for a one-week visit to the Netherlands in February 2023. We have asked the participants to share their stories. These are difficult stories of loss and destruction, but also hopeful and inspiring examples of bravery, of sticking together, of fighting for one’s values.

Intimacy Coordinator event at Berlinale 2023
At the Berlinale Film Festival, DutchCulture put intimacy coordination in the spotlight. With support from the Netherlands Embassy in Berlin, the Netherlands Film Fund, and the Dutch and German Creative Europe Desks, DutchCulture hosted a networking dinner about intimacy coordination for 28 film professionals, including actors, intimacy coordinators, filmmakers, policymakers from both countries.

'Rain Flowers', a Walloon-Dutch co-production
During the state visit of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima to Belgium last June, the Netherlands Embassy in Belgium organized the multidisciplinary cultural festival Canaux, Pays-Bas X Pays Noir in Charleroi. DutchCulture brought together comic artists Christian Durieux (B) and Dido Drachman (NL)to create the colourful mural 'Rain Flowers' on the building of the Institut Saint-André school in Charleroi.
