The Encompass programme of the University of Leiden enables participants from Asia to study their own history and the history of European-Asian relations through the archives of the Dutch East India Company (VOC) and the archives from the 19th and 20th century. A staff member of the National Archives of Indonesia was given a partial scholarschip to attend this programme.
