The Yaroslavl Art museum is the biggest art museum of the Russian province, the winner of the first competition "Window to Russia". It is the only specialized art museum in the Yaroslavl region. Its collection contains more than 60 000 works of art including paintings, graphics, decorative-applied art, sculpture and numismatics. The exposition gives an opportunity to go through 8 centuries: from the first half of the 13th century to the beginning of the 21st centuries, including the art of Old Russia, the Golden and Silver Ages of Russia and the variety of contemporary culture. Our pride are the icon of Saviour the Pantocrator and the miraculously appeared icon of Our Lady Tolgskaya, the canvases by D. Levckiy, K. Brullov, A. Mokrickiy, V. Perov, I. Kramskoy, I. Repin, works of the artists of "The World of Art", "A Diamond Jack", "The Union of Russian Artists" and of different unions of Russian avant-garde, the paintings by Konstantin Korovin including his works of the late period executed in Paris.
