Nederlands Brazilie in Kaart

Publication (in Dutch) that contains facsimile of hydrographical maps of the coast of Brazil These maps were commissioned by the West India Company in the mid 17th century. The original handwriting accompanying the maps and the toponyms are translated by expert Ben Teensma while the nautical history of the Dutch in Brazil is described by Prof. Henk den Heijer.
