International visitor: Maria Grazia Mattei (ITA)

Maria Grazia Mattei (Italy) is journalist and art critic, expert in new communications technologies and digital evangelist. She is the director of Meet the Media Guru that started in 2005 as a platform for knowledge exchange on international digital culture. In 2018 it became MEET, the first Italian digital culture centre thanks to the partnership with Fondazione Cariplo.

The aim of Maria Grazia Mattei’s visit is to explore new trends and outstanding Dutch experts in digital culture in order to involve them in some Meet the Media Guru events, as well as to explore new partnerships between MEET and some digital culture centres in the Netherlands. She will visit Het Nieuwe Instituut, Waag Society, Institute of Network Cultures (Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences), Mediamatic, Dutch Design Week, Impakt Festival among other organisations.
